Well, I got my buddy interested in getting a UOA. Please note that this OCI included running a full quart low for half of the interval due, in part, to an oil filter change with no top off.

Previous runs were with Valvoline SynPower for most of the vehicle's life until 1-2 years ago, this probably being the 2nd run or 3rd run with Royal Purple for this report. He used to run only 3,750 miles on Valvoline SynPower and was wanting to run 7,500 on Royal Purple. I believe being low an entire quart for a few thousand miles in his app, which includes hauling heavy loads, could contribute to the apparent elevated wear. Thoughts?
Custom exhaust, CAI, programmer, E-85 used habitually so noted.
