I found the original Russian easier to understand.

(and I neither read nor speak Russian...) It's a good thing the summit conferences between Ronald Ray-gun and Mikhail Gorbachev didn't enlist the translation services of "babelfish". Both continents would've been rendered uninhabitable for the next ten-thousand years.
