Galaxy S5 won't see mobile network

My Galaxy S5 started not seeing the T-mobile network this morning. Everything else works fine. Found lot's of how-to's, did them all, still doesn't work. One said to remove battery and sim card for 5 mins, that didn't work either.

Anyone have any ideas?

Is it possible that the cell tower in your area is down or being serviced?

A factory reset would be a good place to start if possible

Go to your settings>more connection settings>wifi settings. If the 'never use celluar network' option is selected, your phone will act like you are describing. My got that way a week or so ago. Don't have any idea how.

Also, in the terrible T Mobile App that comes with the phone, if you scroll down there is a 'device health' section with some tests you can run. That's how I found out/fixed mine. Good luck.

Might need a new SIM card, go into a T Mobile store and if that's the issue they'll just give you one
