Mechanic friend was helping someone start a rear-engine Skoda. I was just hanging around.
He tips some petrol down the carb throat, says "Y'know, last time I did this to a Skoda it caught fire, Ha Ha! Try it now"
Boomf!
There was a partly melted snowman on the grass nearby so we dumped that on top of the engine. Worked a treat.
I recommend keeping a partly melted snowman handy whenever working around automobiles.
You can't be too careful.
