True, but the pound of aluminum will be slightly easier to lift because it has more bouyancy in air due to its larger volume.


That slight difference is already taken into account when both were weighed in air.

With that assumption, you'd be dealing with a larger actual mass of aluminum, which wouldn't make a fair comparison.

Comes from the confusing viscosity with thickness or density. Viscosity is simply resistance to flow. When you advance to the next life, look up Isaac Newton and you can probably get him to elaborate on that further.
