That's a very stout 5w-30 oil. Excellent.

Above max? I've heard nissan gt-r engines should have oil 1/2 quart or so below max to combat the extra sloshing and aeration from track duty cycles. Good thing to do, keep it a little low for track days.
Not saying foaming is why iron is sky high as this engine typically sheds lots 'o iron anyway. Red line likes moly 4 sure.

I was trying to combat the oil burning and possible oil starvation under high g's.
We'll see what the iron is after winter, but the iron ppm looks reasonable.
