jarad you apparently are sitting on or using some old Defy. The formula changed almost 2 years ago, it's just same 'ol same 'ol run of the mill stuff now. No high zinc.

If you find some of the old Defy in red bottles marked API SL, buy it. Good stuff.

OP, not the exact VOA your are looking for, but here are two VOA from PQIA.
First Quaker State Conventional 5w30, and second GTX 10W40, both have the same zinc levels at ~ 850 ppm

I would suggest that Quaker State Conventional 10w40 would the same 850 ppm level.

It has a little bird right on the nose.Its a very early 83 so it actually came with '82 graphics which isn't much.
The big whole hood bird didn't come back until '85.

I did a full resto on my T/A a few years ago. Goodwrench 350 with Edelbrock RPM heads, Lunati Voodoo cam and roller rockers. Supercomp headers,3" Dynomax exhaust. Tubular suspension and K-member. Converted to 5speed.

The Vette is actually coming apart now. Hopefully I will have the body off the frame this winter.
It was OK shape when I got it 2 years ago but its just tired. All the bushings are original and rotted. All the seals leak. Body bushings are bad.

Both very nice looking cars. That Corvette looks great in white.

The T/A has great wheels, and yeah I can see that little bird on the nose and tail. That resto you did on it sounds great too, it must be a fun car to drive. Your oil choice of Rotella 10W30 sounds perfect to me.

Just noticed you're from CT, that's Connecticut right? I spent a week in Hartford for work, back in 2014. If you were close, we could have had a beer together. I'm not a local, so I couldn't find much to do in the Hartford CBD at night, some great old buildings there. I did take the train to NYC for the day, found lots to do there.

Ya Connecticut. I live here and don't know much at all that goes on in Hartford. New Haven has a lot better nightlife but nothing compared to NYC. When ever out of state relatives come in thats where they always want to check out
