I've been using Zaino products for quite some time and apply Z2 in full sun with no problems. I now want to apply Z5 to remove a few fine scratches.

Can I use it in full sun just as I do with the Z2?

Thanks for knowledgeable replys.

I have used Z5 in the hot sun many times and it's still very easy to buff off, even on black paint.

Just to clarify, the Z5 won't actually remove the scratches, it'll just hide them. It contains no abrasives. If you actually want the scratches reduced or totally gone, try out some Zaino fusion. A friend of mine went over my front end this afternoon with a PC and a combination of Zaino Fusion and Meguiar's Fine Cut Cleaner, and we managed to remove some more imperfections from the finish.

Z5Pro adds a darkening effect to paint, that's why people like it on dark colors. It can hide some swirls in artificial light, but you will have no luck in daylight. In fact, you cannot have swirls and a super durable polymer, something has to give. Any "filler" will make a sealant less durable by a lot, so technically Z5Pro has no fillers. I think it is just a different polymer blend that allows for a "shadowing" of swirls. Better to remove the swirls, and use Z5Pro to hide very minor surface imperfections. You can use in full sun.
