Hi,

finished my z5 pro with zfx last night, so this am I applied a top coat of z2.

The z5 had a smooth, fluid consistency, it flowed from the bottle without issue.

The z2 was thick, came out in a consistency thicker than, say dishsoap, or even something like one of those gojo pummice hand soaps.

It was a bit "globby", and didn't spread as well as the other products.

This was the first use of it.

Did I get old stock, or should I be concerned?

Thanks!

Was the Z2 exposed to very cold temps?
That happened to me and that was the problem.
Still can be used,though.
If you just bought it and it's like that, call Zaino.

I bought it new from the nj supplier last July 4th. It has sat in my basement at basement temps through today.

I just put on a coat of Z2Pro tonight actually, it was a fresh bottle I just bought last weekend. I found the consistency of it to be identical to that of Z5Pro.

I'm now "re-addicted" to Zaino again!

I put on two coats of Z5 last weekend (plus an extra coat on the hood) and that coat of Z2 tonight. I will now alternate between Z2 and Z5, probably doing one coat every weekend for the next little while. This stuff is so easy to use that it's no big deal to throw a coat on once a week. It takes me only about 45 minutes to do the entire car.

Who exactly is the "N.J. supplier"?? (In case I ever decide to try the whole multi-step, complicated system.)

I found someone in Piscataway who sells Collinite, and Auto Magic, but NOT; Zaino, DP, Poorboys, Optimum, Pinnacle, or any of the other faves of this (and Autogeek) site/forum.
