My brother plays guitar in cover band and also has his own band. He's on John Petrucci level in terms of technicality. He's that good. The stuff he has on his myspace doesn't show this, but he had to tone it down and make it more accessible for mass play.

He and I are both fans of most of the same guitarists. (Satriani, VH, Vai, Slash, John Petrucci/Inqwie Malmsteen, Alan Holdsworth, Eric Johnson.
