I don't know what happened but as of 2 days ago I'm not getting dozens of emails that normally come into my mailbox. My Ring alarm status, USPS Informed Delivery, dozens of marketing and promotional emails that I choose to receive. They're not going to spam or other folders either

I thought it was Android 16 so I logged into my Yahoo mailbox from our PC with Windows Edge...same thing..
so its not browser specific. I didn't change any sort of filters...I don't see any in the Yahoo Mail settings to change.
What's going on?

could yahoo being having server trouble?

I have the Yahoo email account in Gmail too. Same thing.
The other issue is I can't sync the Yahoo Mail on my Android phone and tablet. The "Sync Now" is greyed out.
I did not know that I always thought Gmail was its own thing. These phones are having issues with email, that is what I have read, I only have a Flip Phone. $13.26 a month, unlimited calls and texts.

Yahoo is on its last legs, I'm surprised it has lasted this long. Same thing with AOL. You might consider changing a more more modern email service, like Gmail.

Using your Google account to log in to yahoo still relies on yahoo.

Do you gave a lot of e-mails stored? A family member received an e-mail last week stating that the yahoos at Yahoo! are going to impose a 25MB limit on saved e-mails and if you're over that, you won't be receiving any new ones until your folders are cleaned out and you're below the limit again.

I have no yahoo email issues at all
Usually don't on Android 14 and W10 and 11

I always thought Gmail was the worst especially on a cell. Can't stand Gmail .....

I assume that's only on the free service

I thought the email attachment limit to send was 25MB, I cant imagine an account limit of 25MB year 1999 aol was 100MB.
Please check your sources.

just curious, how many emails are in the root of the inbox? maybe try sorting by oldest to newest, and putting the oldest emails into a different folder and seeing if there is any effect

I would definitely check the storage limit.

Very possible, but usually all kinds of warning messages appear when the storage limit is approached, since that's an opportunity to upsell to a paid tier account

oh nice 20GB limit. I havent used yahoo in about 10 years when I was getting my email hacked/taken over bi-weekly even with 15-length passwords..
it came out later they had security flaws.

Yeah...I'm suspecting my account got hacked. I'm changing all the important stuff. Banking, credit cards, healthcare, Ring alarm, Amazon, even streaming services sign ins. Gmail is fine as I have a Pixel phone and tablet
