My folks bought me a 1/2 day of high performance driving school at Autobahn Country Club. The package includes hot lapping on their private track as well as autocross, and instruction + classes taught by their course pro. Also comes with catered meals.

There's a whole fleet of great vehicles...and I'm conflicted on which to pick. Choices are:

Audi S4
BMW M3 coupe
Cadillac CTS-V coupe
Lexus IS F
Mercedes C63 AMG coupe
Mercedes E63 AMG
Nissan 370Z NISMO
Porsche 911 Carrera S coupe

I'm thinking of taking the C63 or CTS-V as my first choice, with the 911 or M3 as a second choice. Truthfully they would all be a blast, but I already own the S4 so obviously I don't want that.

Discuss.

I would do the Porsche, Cadillac, or BMW.

Nissan would probably post some of the best lap times, but it still does not have enough power and they are pretty common.

Yeah, the Z is a good car but I feel like I should pick a car that I likely wouldn't ever buy or maybe one that's just totally bonkers (like the AMGs).

I'd be doing the C63 like you said. 911's are pretty much an ageing platform and that rear enging design doesn't help how it corners. I'd never be much for the CTS-V because they're common around here, but I'm sure it would be fun to just cane it around a track.

The C63 or an M3 are typically German; overpowered muscle cars that handle well and eat tarmac. Hard to resist that IMHO; just because every Merc I've seen or been in has always been on a street where maybe a tenth of its potential only ever gets unleashed.

Either the CTS-V or the C63 AMG. Does the Mercedes have a manual or automatic trans? If it's auto, go for the CTS-V. If you're not driving a manual trans on a racetrack, you're not really driving.

Those would be mine as well.

Yep, the Z is far too affordable to waste your day on. If you want to try one, buy one.

Go for something nuts or at least far less affordable.
