I have two local Hyundai Dealers.

One wants 9.84 per Oil Filter (Spin on for the Accent)
The other wants 10.23. WOW

So I found this on Ebay. Would you trust it?

The eBay seller's price is in line with the wholesale price for these filters.

$9.84-$10.23 for a single 26300-35503 is insane. I sell those filters for $5.25 a piece to retail customers.

Yeah, that's just way too high for the Hyundai filter. The dealers close to where I live also charge too much for these filters, and the price they charge for the drain plug gasket is too high as well. I bought a box of Dorman drain plug gaskets/crush washers for a much better price, and they have been working just fine.

As for where to buy the oil filters, I would prefer buying them through Amazon instead of ebay.

Ebay is great but the unloading of counterfeit filters there, particularly OEM has been a problem. Those look legit to me though, at that price you could cut one virgin to verify and still be money ahead on the other 9.

I have bought 12 of them as well as my buddy and we have had no issues yet.

We bought them from this seller

This seller appears to be a Hyundai dealer.

Wow $4 per filter nice deal. I'd probably sacrifice one to make sure it's not counterfeit but seller reputation should let you know what's up.

I would agree that $9-$10 for a 26300-35503 Hyundai / Mobis filter from the dealer is more than a rip-off. The funny thing is that I've always purchased them directly from the dealer individually and the first one I bought was a little over $10 before tax...and now two years later they're around $6.50 which is what I'd pay for any comparable Wix, Bosch, Purolator, etc. In typical dealer fashion, they also wanted a dollar for a crush washer.

There are counterfeits out there but from what I've seen of the Ebay / Amazon sellers they're all legitimate. I think $5/each in bulk is probably the norm for these filters these days.

I bought a case of Hyundai filters from E-bay and have had no problems. They appear to be legitimate OEM.

PS: Hyundai OEM oil filters are really well built...

If you are concerned about counterfeit filters, suggest using Mobis 26300 35503 filters.

Mobis is Hyundia's way of selling OEM parts to the aftermarket. The only difference is the they have a holographic sticker that helps protect users from getting counterfeit parts.

I've gotten all my 26300 35503s for my Kia from eBay, couple of different sellers, both in the US though. No issues with them at all.
