Would MMO interfere with MoS2 plating?

Liqui-Moly has made this video, detailing how MoS2 works in an engine. Interesting to say the least, especially as far as metal surface smoothness is concerned.
 
Solid Mo is not a surface-interactve component. What I mean by that is that it is not going to have an energy change or a reaction with the surface, but rather just will be super fine particles that squeeze down and sit on the surface.

The stabilization of the particles to stay in solution is a different story. Additives COULD cause the surface stabilization of the Mo to change, causing it to desire to agglomerate or do different things, including NOT be present on the surfaces where it was "squashed" on. Generally though this requires a variation of pH or surface acidity or another related aspect. I would imagine that given the typical chemistries used with oils and adds, this would not occur.
