I broke my leg the other day and while surfing the net I found out there are people who actually wear cast for fun. So would any of your wear a cast for fun and if so what type

How is wearing a cast at all fun? Inconvenient, itchy, heavy, etc.

Anyone who does that for fun seriously needs to get their head checked.

How on earth did you break your leg?

I think it was in a few movies where a guy would wear a cast at a ski resort looking for sympathy from young women. The cast had a zipper on the back. Something along those lines.

That's just sad.

Errrmm,it was in a movie. Fiction. Made up. Exaggerated sad and embarrassing acts overacted for cheap amusement.

As far as kink, I'm sure there is such a fetish. And the internet lets you find those people, no matter how obscure and specialized the fetish. And when you do, you'll find that they say "It's not as strange as some.. that guy over there likes wearing soiled diapers and a gag while doing it."

Having broken both feet on two separate occasions (one at a time and years apart, luckily), I think I'm more than qualified to respond to this thread.

The "itchy" part is a feature of the old plaster casts. Get an AirCast and you can remove the cast any time you like in order to relieve the itching. And you can wash your foot and change your sock whenever you feel like it. Plus, as you get further into the healing, you can remove the cast at night so you can actually sleep comfortably.

AirCasts beat plaster hands down. Worth every penny, even if you pay for it 100% out-of-pocket.

I've found that doctors tend to refer to an AirCast as a "boot".

I can't say I'd ever wear one for fun but as a means of learning sympathy, perhaps. Sympathy for a loved one in a cast, or if I was in a role that required me to be sympathetic, or just plain as a character building exercise (perhaps part of some camp or whatever).

But not for the heck of it.
