**WORST Halloween Weather Topic thread**
(add your story!)

As I write this, 65MPH winds, rain, Tornado watches are out...got me thinking of the Halloween 19years ago...

My entry for this topic:
Monday night, Halloween, 1994, Chicago.
Weather was so bad that the bar my friend & I were at was like a ghost town (pun not really intended) as no one was there, the Chicago Bears embarrassingly lost to the Green Bay Packers (not unusual sadly), Flight 4184 crashed as it approached the Chicagoland area and many died. Roads were complete ice on the way home.

The weather could be worse, much worse....

Winnipeg, circa 1970. 2+ feet of snow, high winds in a typical plains blizzard. My Dad carried my little sister and I to one house across the street. We were the only trick-or-treaters out that night.

We stayed there and ate all their candy...

Ya, I grew up in the Tug Hill area of Upstate NY - same thing. It either rained, or was a [censored] of a snow storm nearly every year. I also got sick nearly every year too.

Good old Winterpeg. Earned that nickname for a reason!

Maybe 25 years ago, moderate fog.

It was the worst because it meant a teenager on a bicycle could not see clearly, came whizzing down a driveway and crashed into me!

I was still in grade school at the time, but I do remember that year. Trick or treating in the snow was pretty gnarly.

Wow, I remember exactly where I was on that night. At a casino in Green Bay winning a pile of money and watching Favre pummel the Bears. What a great night!

Ow. But at least they made a movie about it.
