Another article that aligns with many of the contributors to this thread stated- Dimon may be motivated by his real estate assets in directing remote workers return to their desks.

But there is a seed of equivalent benefit for remote workers to return to their desk, they may be better noticed for promotion opportunities.

Or look for a company that has a corporate culture that values your contribution as an employee rather than where you plant yourself for the day.
 
If a company is paying for an office space or owns it outright, why would anybody be surprised that they’d want to utilize their assets to the max potential, instead of them sitting almost empty?

It has little to do with “culture” or some “secret sauce”, those are just feel good buzz words, so that these companies are not judged too harshly. Image is key after all.

But cold, hard facts are that no company will spend money on assets and not utilize them.
