From our '20 Hyundai Venue and a lot of highway miles. Not much to report. This filter sat in my draining rig for a couple months so it's pretty dry and that may also account for any odd coloration.

Looks well constructed. Leaving it dry out is great to see what may be lingering on the media. Do you usually put that many miles on in 45 days? Do you plan to stick with 5k drain intervals?

Same filter in our Accents. Every one I've installed so far has been nice and consistently spaced and the construction seems pretty high quality.

They have all looked really good. Until it's out of extended warranty, I'm going to stick with 0w20 @ 5k intervals.

The oil is likely still good, but I'm all over the hills here in central PA so I shoot for in between the normal and severe service schedules.

Miles on the '20 Venue ? Any issues ? Gas mileage ? Enjoy
Just shy of 62k. No issues so far - crossing fingers. No oil consumption. "Shifts" good.. of all the parts it's the CVT I'm worried about.
Average milage seems to be about 38.. mid 30s in the hills and low 40s otherwise.
