This might be a stupid question but I wanted to know if my wix oil filters that i'm using are good for both conventional and sythetic oil because I was at my auto parts store recently and I saw fram has a filter for both oils?

Odd, the Fram isn't good for conventional or synthetic oils.

Syn brake fluid in my opinion is better. It has better lubrication properties for brake-force distribution units used in many traction control / ABS units... I feel their is a difference and money well spent. It keeps them from corroding and absorbing moisture in the lines... These units are very costly to replace.
I have used WIX in the past with synthetics and it worked just as good... Then I found AMSOIL Filters to have the best filtration in my application so I'm using them. Doesn't really matter. UOA proves everything not marketing..
