just opened a new wix, in a wix box not napa gold, for my wife's chrysler minivan. Advance sells actual wix but you have to ask for it by wix name otherwise you get their house brand, suspected Fram. it is replacing the purolator that was in there to see if high silicon might go down. have seen posts where filters are made in France, Israel, Korea, and Mexico, even the Napas. Filter is stamped Made in USA. we'll see if any difference in the purolator. model is 42133.
buying air filters seems like buying bed matresses. does not seem anyone knows who makes what or where and what the differences are. for all we know there may only be a few factories that make em all.
