WIX 57173 10K mi IS250

This is the second OCI on this 57173. The first time it looked like this . This time around I wanted to just throw it back in, but decided to just run a 15K FCI on the next wix I put in there.
Oil used was 5w30 M1 for the first half, and Pennzoil Platinum 10w30 for the second. Drain plug has a neodymium magnet that I epoxied on there, comes out with very small amount of iron every time compared to any other car I have/serviced. UOA will be sent out tomorrow for this run, so stay tuned

In went a mix of 5w30 Pennzoil Platinum and 10w30 Pennzoil Platinum, 5 and 2 quarts respectively. The filter that went in is a FULL. Looks well built, but time will tell. If it looks good at 5k, I'll run it out to 10. Will have an eval with pre and post pictures posted next OCI.

Looking good after 10k miles. I like cartridge filter for easy to check condition before and after use, no need to buy a cutter.

I changed cartridge filter in my E430 at every ol change of 10-13k miles, 2 years ago I tried to reuse it after 10k miles, mainly because looking at the condition after 10k miles it was very good, and I didn't see any debris on the pleats. After another 10k miles the filter was looking as new.
