New computer, new email program (no more O.E.). Anyway, I synchronized my Gmail account with Windows Live Mail and it downloaded over 10K old emails. So I start looking for a "select all" option to delete most of them and guess what? No "select all" option in any of the menus (including right-click)! So, unless I'm totally missing something here, the only way to delete or move multiple messages is to 'ctrl' click on each one...

Please tell me I'm missing something obvious.

or select the first message on the list, then scroll to the last message on the list and click on the last message while holding the 'Shift' key.

I've been using windows live mail for months now, and I forget what it looks like by default. I feel like it may not have the menu bar showing by default, which is why you are unable to find select all.
