Yeah I did. No such creature. I booted into BIOS and there was nothing there. It is 5 years old, a $750 laptop with SSD, probably one of the last mid-range models that didn't have it.
Windows Explorer Substitutes?

I use Explorer++. It's free, fast, and it has tabs. It also allows you to open a command prompt in whatever directory you happen to be in, by pressing the icon on the navigation bar, which is useful for us IT guys who need to do stuff in the command prompt.
But the primary reason for me being, you cannot execute Windows Explorer as an administrator. Of course, this is only relevant if you run your Windows as a non-privileged user, which I highly suggest for people to do (although I don't think they ever listen...)
