Will the trans from an 06 Focus ZX3 fit an 02 SE?

Car needs trans, found a parting out 2006 ZX3 thats been wrecked. The 2002 Focus SE has internal trans issue, its not the fluid. Needs replaced.

Compatible? AT, both

Well it turns out it wont.. Only 01, 02, 03, 04 fit.

Found one from a 2003 $350, ready to be installed, out of the donor car ready to be put in by itself. Should i advice my aunt to go for it?

Trans fluid looks ok, everyone tells her the trans has an internal issue. Just shy of 130,000 miles.

You can run an interchange search at car-part.com and that will usually tell you what part will interchange with what. It is how the junkyards figure what part to sell you. They run the hollander interchange system.
