Well I’ll be honest I’m skeptical of the longevity of this mill myself I’m glad the wife went with a lease

The consumer reviews on Edmunds aren't exactly "confidence inspiring".

Nice color! I think it's good you went w/the lease. I looked under the bonnet on one while our Rogue Sport was having a State Inspection @ the Nissan dealer, and that is one motor I wouldn't want to work on. Looked very complicated. I'd have my doubts about the long term longevity on the motor and not so much the CVT if it was maintained (drain/fills, etc.) preventively. Hopefully all will be well while you have the car. Safe and pleasurable miles!

I just can't accept a three cylinder motor, just because. My wife and I test drove a 2024 Pathfinder last spring, but she put the kibosh on it.

I had a 3 cyl. in my Escape, 1.5L. I have a 1.5L in my CR-V, 4 cyl. A 1.5 is 1.5 either way. Very similar hp/tq and if you could drive them back to back without knowing which is which not enough difference to count for anything.
