With all the recent price-drops at Walmart, I'm wondering why more people are not jumping on the Pennzoil HM deal?

$12.50 (5qt.jug)
-10.00 (rebate)
= 2.50..... for a gal of HM oil.

What I mean is.... I bet 50% of us are at 100k miles or more on our vehicles. Or is it because PZ HM is not as good as say.... Val Max Life...?

Is this SM/GF4 or no cert like QS redbottle? I use rotella t 10w30 CJ-4 as a all rounder oil. Has stout pre-SM additisation. U can always get ++ viscosity from the MotorMedic bottle if U want a +1 cSt at boil. Besides, havent you heard, "Thin is in!"

Let me ask this...Valvoline Maxlife states on the back of the bottle that it meets GF4 requirements...Does Pennz HM meet it?

"Product has not been tested to the fuel economy requirements of ILSAC GF-4 but meets engine and emission protection requirements of GF-4."

From the spec sheet.

It is API labeled, but without the "Energy Conserving" bit. Same as MaxLife. I'm not sure either why the Pennzoil High Mileage didn't get more attention. Maybe because it's overshadowed by how good/cheap the YB is, and how good/cheap the PP is.

I almost bought the pennzoil HM instead I went with Valvoline HM and paid $3 more at my local walmart..My Nissan motor runs so smooth on oil with high moly. It loves chevron supreme the best but due to some recent oil leaks I've discovered, I have to try HM oil..previous oils that I've tried and have to drain right away are M1 and GC, engine sounded so harsh ( like fingernails on a chalk board)...
