Just wondering why Fram does not make the XG filter in certain sizes?
I can understand some low volume/oddball filters or newer vehicles, but there is no XG10855, which is for the Hyundai/Kia 3.3/3.5L engines. A lot of those out there.
Seems I read about some high volume Dodge engine not having an XG option as well?
I guess there is some formula Fram uses to determine if/when they should start making an Ultra filter for a vehicle?
For the 10855 model they do make the regular Fram as well as the Toughguard, just no Ultra.
I know the OEM Mahle filters are highly regarded (and have 4 of then on hand from e-bay), but was wanting to give an Ultra a try over multiple oil changes.
