Why no rinse phase for trans. w/ Auto-RX?

Auto-RX requires a rinse phase that follows every clean phase when cleaning the engine. Why is this not the case for the transmission, P/S, or any other cavity you decide to put Auto-RX into?

Because the transmission and powersteering unit are sealed units, meaning that air is not introduced, since air is not introduced there is not much dirt entering and any varnish or sludge is easily removable.

Neither is a sealed unit. Both have air vents so the fluid level can rise when it warms and contract when it cools. If they were truly sealed, the pressure when hot would blow out seals.

The engine needs the more robust cleaning and rinse due to the contamination caused by blow-by gases of combustion.

What I meant when I said a sealed unit is that with the transmission, powersteering, and differential is that air is not introduced like it is in an engine.
