4.97 on kmart.com
get to store... they are 9.49Each
I have a cart with 100$ of stuff in it some super nice folding chairs 350lb capacity.
Woolite and some other odds and ends.
I ask nicely and...
they wont pricematch kmart.com

so I try to do instore pickup on the phone.
and it says they are out of stock on my bug spray
even though I have 2 in hand.

"Customer Service" person says sorry Nope she cant do "nuttin".

so I just left my cart of product there and walked out.

First Time I've been in a kmart in ages.. and its the closest store to me at under half a mile.

I guess I'll go back to pick their bones on the going out of business sale that surely has to happen in the next few years.
Otherwise... The odds of me shopping there are very very poor.

There are no Kmart stores in central texas, I buy from them online and stack a bunch of coupons.

My two recent purchases.

A SUV Jack (Acdelco brand), shipped to my door for $23 dollars. Thing was nearly 75 pounds maybe more.

A bag full of tools including a bag for $11, shipped to my door.

Never had any luck in the Kmart stores when I lived in NY they were dumps.

I always hated Kmart. Seemed everything I'd buy there would break or fall apart and I'd have to return it. We used to always have a joke about Kmart,saying all their merchandise was the stuff that broke while falling off the truck on the way to the store haha,and that's why their stuff always sucked.

I don't shop at Kmart, they're such trashy dirty stores.

I went there last year and got a $2 5 quart jug of Quaker State Advanced Durability. Oh and some Craftsman tool bags on clearance.

I think K Mart is a tax write off for Sears. The only thing I can come up with. They closed all of them in my area. Prime real estate.

It was a great store up until the mid 1990s in my area. Hard to believe some are still hanging on.

Kmart has made huge mistakes. They buckled to special interest by not selling guns, then the ammo. Not interested in selling things is bad business.

The stores have not seen MAJOR upgrades for 30 years. New bathrooms and signage is all that has improved.

Then there was the breach of security in payments.

When Sears was bought by them, should have moved that Sears sign and put over that "Big K" sign. Sears has a better BRAND, than stagnated Kmart.

My mom goes there to get a bunch of free stuff. She never shops there normally but they are always giving her these 'points' that she uses to get free stuff ... but she won't get anything extra while she is there. Pretty neat.

Walmart pulled the opposite. Found a battery box online for $12. Listed as $20 on the shelf. Rang up for $9. ok.

Half mile from your house and rarely go in, sheeesh.

You've missed out on a lot of good sales and clearances.
I just picked up a 5 qt jug of Smitty's HM synthetic blend for $8.94 this weekend.

All stores have their hassles. Target's bathrooms are Trans-gender friendly. Home Depot/Lowes and others demand drivers licenses for returns without receipts (which they dutifully enter into a data base).
Walmart won't discount damaged goods, Kmart will and sometimes a hefty one at that. Walmart clearances are typically a joke, they knock off a few bucks. Kmart often marks items down 50%.

Not to mention the Walmart freak show of humanity.

The store are a mess,theres no real organization ita still stuck in the 90's planogram, youre not gonna find all the latest and greatest, checking out is a process, its hard to find a decent price on anything, they play music out loud like an old deparment store. Theres no love for the place and it shows, which makes me sad because i grew up going to these all the time.

The whole company as a whole is dying. I haven't been to Kmart/ Sears in at least a year or so.

Last i knew, they were wanting to sell off Craftsman, which I feel is like the crew on a sinking ship throwing the bilge pump over to lose some weight.
