That is bad?

Yup,I cannot stand going into Walmart for ANYTHING.

When the ads for the various and sundry grocery stores come out each week I look at my coupons file, scan the ads, make a list for each store as applicable...

Fred Meyer, Safeway, IGA, Albertsons, Thriftway, etc. I find it amazing that the exact same products can usually be found for a fraction of the "regular" price, if you bother to look.

I can't tell you how many times I've purchased fresh chicken breasts (with ribs) for $0.99 a pound only to see some ditzy bro@d with a package of "boneless skinless breasts" checking out at $3.99 a pound. Her money = her choice. Shredded Wheat for $4.49 at one store, 2 for $6 at another, "buy one get one free", especially with a coupon to double, is even better. Best Foods (that's Hellmans for you East of the Mississippi) Mayo for $0.99 vs. $3.49.

As I am around & about, I hit the stores as is convenient. O'Reillys and NAPA are on the way to the Fred Meyer, AutoZone is virtually across the street from a Safeway where I can usually gas up for $0.20-80 off. Oil is the least of my worries because I have quite a stash at both homes and ONLY purchase it on sale or with a rebate.

Personally I don't mind waiting until something is conveniently on the way, and if I don't get everything on my lists, that's OK, too. Some grocery chains deliver too... But you really pay out the nose for that service.

We are so lucky to have so much to choose from!

Cheers!

p.s. My typical grocery receipt reflects "savings" that are usually 30-40%, sometimes over 50%.

I agree! Have you ever seen the People of Walmart website? That is the very reason I don't go to Walmart as much as possible. It is like a different world there.....

I've used the 76 Super 5W-20 for 5 years in my 2007 Honda Ridgeline, with no issues. Truck uses zero oil at 62K miles. My nearest distributor carries 76 but not Kendall, Conoco or Phillips 66. Personally I feel there's only minor differences between the 4 synthetic blends. You should be able to use it with confidence. My last purchase in 11/2012 was for $2.44 a quart.
