Who wants to be my neighbor?

Yours may be "normal", this just looks like a junkyard but with trees. To each their own.

Oh you poor soul! If you're ever vacationing in the Four Corners come visit White Trash Land, aka my very own local amusement park. I know, I know -- it sounds so amazing you're planning a route right now! Tickets are selling fast so book early (at least, that's what they always say)

This July it will be two years since the Mohave Green Rattlesnake was in our back yard.
Yikes 😳 that is one nasty snake. Most don't know their venom can be hemotoxic or neurotoxic and it's bite causes rapid paralysis. I've seen one in 20 years while hiking near sedona. A woman my wife worked with came here from Kingman, her husband was bit by a green Mojave in their garage there and lived.

Part of living in the desert.

I think in many part of the West 80 would be considered "cool" and yeah, no shade and no cloud, 100F in the last several days. Those are days that I wish I have solar roof but at least mine is north facing, and a 3 ton AC is enough to keep my house down to 74F (won't go lower with only 3 ton).
I have trouble sleeping much above 60F. 1 room a/c in the bedroom does the trick. Every few years we'll have a day or 2 above 100F, but generally it doesn't get much above 90 on the worst days. The problem is the humidity which isn't a problem out west from what I've been told.

Sometime I will get down there, I assume there's lots of interesting ATV/dirtbike/mountain bike trails nearby? Or nice higher altitude hiking trails?
We have had a few days of mid 80's with over 100% humidity in the early evening, so I was driving 50mph with the AC fogging up the windshield on the outside, so a bit of dry heat sounds nice!
There's many legal riding places plus the king of the hammers thing is about an hour away. Here are a few spots.
