Who smokes cigars or pipes?

The recent topic on smoking got me thinking. I really enjoy a good cigar every now and then. I'm not talking about the average cigar that you buy at the local store, but good cigars.

Personally, my two favorites are La Perla Habana Black Pearl Gran Robusto and Havana Honeys Del Sol Rum. The La Perla Habanas are a bit expensive at over $6 per cigar, but worth every penny. The Havana Honeys aren't anywhere near as good, but not bad for the price.

If you smoke pipes or cigars, what brand?

Just the occasional cigar, especially when playing golf (where it is also legal to drink and drive

). I've tried La Perla's and like them, my favorite is the Macanudo Maduro.

I started smoking pipes several months ago. I enjoyed it while it lasted. My desire suddenly just went away and the taste started to disagree wih me. I have no idea what happened but my wife is happy! Oh well.

I used to enjoy the occasional cigar when I had more free time (before my son was born).

I tend to prefer large-ring robustos and pyramides. Some of my favorites, when I can afford them:

El Rey del Mundo Robusto (maduro)
Romeo et Julieta Robusto
Cuesta Rey Pyramide #9
Cuesta Rey Belicoso
