who puts their license plate in the windshield?

Back when Canon imageRUNNERS were a thing that was a way to for lack of a better word obfuscate the fact that it wasn't valid.

Think about NYC and all the fake placards people come up with to park illegally.

Today in Phila you'd never see that since plates aren't even needed.

Think about it. I have a vehicle registered legally, and I'm gonna clutter my dash with a plate? I don't think so.

I just skip the front plate all together.
Today there are some vehicles where it truly looks ugly and not even centered, when using a factory bracket. So I could see the desire to delete it. 20 years ago I thought that was a weak argument. But today, many cars aren't even liquid cooled and they have no radiators.

Illegal here to have plates in window.
I see tons of them, so I guess the cops just let it slide. Although I don't really see how you can read it in the windshield. Do they just shove it into the dash partly? Never really understood how they make them stay.

My dad had a corvette once and I guess they pulled him over for it and he ended up popping the cover off and putting a front plate on. I don't think he got a ticket that time. He always got pulled over for odd stuff like that. I always found it funny because he usually only drives 5 minutes down the road. Never much farther.
