Who made this Carquest Blue

I picked up three CQ Blue filters yesterday and out of the three I have:


Two where the can is painted black and has a base plate that looks exactly like a M1 filter. These two black painted ones look exactly like a M1 filter, even same style date code.

The third one is a white painted can, base plate sure looks like a Puro filter, and the louvers are hardly open.

3rd filter: Purolator as date code reads October 1, 2016, Line "E" and 1st shift. Got any pics?

The first two were made by Fram, and they are in fact very similar if not identical to the M1. Made in Albion, IL on March 15, 2016

The last one is a reboxed P1, and car51 gave you the date code meaning.

Is it safe to say that I should just return the Puro made filter?
