Who do you have for home internet and cell service?

Horry Telephone Cooperative, circa 1952. MOCA technology for Internet. Consumer Cellular for the phones.

We ended up with Hulu live. It better overlapped with what we use. IE, oilBabe was also paying for Hulu and Disney+ so our savings are close to $150/month when we take out the uVerse TV costs $183, Disney+ and the Hulu and then add back the Hulu live. Oh, and the bundled HBO Max we were supposed to be getting for free with our 1gb fiber, but uVerse was still charging for. Just another reason to cut the cord so to speak with uVerse TV.
So we are basically streaming and AT&T fiber and there are no caps on our fiber data plan.

There were caps before, but they quietly went away as our bill says 1gb unlimited and we consistently get the speeds advertised.
Interesting timing. We just cancelled U-verse yesterday and are in a trial period with YouTube TV.

Xfinity for home internet. Way faster and more reliable than AT&T.

NO cell service. Not interested in cell phones and never had one.
You would be surprised how handy your cell phone comes in when you need help. Technology really can be used for great purposes.

Spectrum 100mb/s for $30/mo. Mint Mobile (T-Mobile towers) on 15GB plan for $25/mo on my oldish iPhone 11. I ditched satellite TV, pricey internet and expensive cell phone plans and I’m saving nearly $3,000/yr. We do have Netflix and Hulu for ~$20/mo. 100mb/s is plenty to even stream two TVs at the same time.

Daddy ended up switching from Tmob back to Verizon coverage but using US Mobile. 25gb for only $25/mo. $20/mo with student discount. Hollahhhhhhh

CenturyLink internet and trying Visible cell service (Verizon network). Visible is $60/month for 2 lines, unlimited, 2 Hotspot instead of the $139 Verizon wouldn't budge from. Verizon is the best choice for coverage here unfortunately. Daughter tried Mint and it was bad.

Haven't had cable for so long don't even think about it.

Upgraded our speed from 200mbps to 400mbps on Xfinity, contract ran out and it was only $5 more a month for another year. Did have to buy a new modem, my trusty almost 8 year old Arris SB6141 was not only no longer supported but couldn’t handle 400mbps. Now using an Arris SB8200 and Asus RT-AX56U router, not bad for being on Wi-Fi.

Thank you. They are closed today so cant call to find out. Will try link
When I switched to Ooma a while back, I did keep my land line number. It was $39 as advertised. I believe they call it “porting” your existing land line. Ooma is great. works as advertised, never had an issue… We’ve used the same hardware now for over 8 years…

Xfinity/Comcast=Internet
TV=Streaming Philo, Netflix, HBO, sometimes Starz, Peacock & Paramount+
Cell=Was Verizon but I just switched to ATT yearly $300 plan
