Which one is better or are the the same?

Are there any benefits in engine longevity between shorter 4k miles OCI with lower spec oil or longer 8/10k miles OCI with higher spec oil?some say frequent changes are better and some say top spec oil can be left 10k or more...​

Hi..is it better to change a mineral oil at 4000miles or a superior synthetic but at 8000miles?or do both scenarios offer the same protection?
