Does anyone know how to get a good deal on the Amsoil EAO 15K series oil filters?
These are 15$ on the company website.
Please reveal your super secret techniques for such... Thx

Become a preferred buyer.

The best is not always inexpensive.

Even a Bosch D+ is almost $12 at Walmart.

I think M1 and Bosch D+ are very good and close but not equal of Amsoil Ea.

Agreed,
I was able to get Mobil 1 Extended Performance for 8$ last fall at AAP and am hoping to strike a similar deal on these " highest quality imo" Ea filters.
Not an easy task though.

Which Toyota? Year? Engine?

The EA15K09-EA is $10.85, for example.

Her's is the 2004 Corolla 1.8L 4 cyl, R 1ZZ-FE.

I usually do 5k OCI, but she is now out of state at Texas a&m and it wil be 10 to 12K miles between OC, hence the desire for highest quality filtration.

It's nothing wrong with looking for high quality oil filters, Amsoil oil filter is 1 of the best, if not the best, on market.

On the other hand, I had been using low to mid range oil filters in my 1994 280+k miles LS400 since around 1996-1997 for full year up to 13-15k miles without any problem.

If your engine is in good condition, there isn't much to filter and any decent filter will work for 10-15k miles. But if spending some extra $ to get top of the line filter will make you sleep well at night, then by all mean do it.

Yes, it's the EA15K09

don't worry about the 10-15k or one year oil changes with kids in college, I did it on both of my kids using amsoil products. Engines made it through college fine
