It has been a loooooooong winter. Heating costs aren't making it any easier.

I live in central MI and work in NW MI (both lower peninsula). Where I work (Cadillac) we had about 6" of wet snow on 4/19. Temps are running about 10 - 15F below normal. Temps are supposed to hit low 60's on 4/25 and be back to the 40's by the end of the week. Just about the coldest spring I can remember in the 24 years I have lived up here. At least we have adequate rainfall which sometimes is lacking up here in the Spring.

Come yo Florida, we are already in the 90s. This is gonna be another scorcher down here.

I live in mid michigan also. It is slowly warming up, steelhead have been slow to move up streams because of the cold. It really is going to be a wet week, especially Monday and Tuesday. No spring it will go right into summer.

Spring? It was winter all last week, month, since September! Then yesterday, summer broke out. People went haywire. Car Accidents everywhere. Back to winter today. Bummer.

I think "Spring" was about 2 weeks with nice weather and 6 weeks of pollen. That's all I saw of it, at least. It's summer now.

We got 2 inches of snow yesterday evening.

We're in a very strong La Nina pattern right now. Honestly, we've gotten a few inches of moisture in the past few weeks, so I'm LOVING it! Prior to this, we haven't had even a half inch of moisture for several months.

We will have the coldest April ever recorded for Seattle. HIGH tomorrow will be in the 40°'s. Had frost every day last week.

Must be that time of the month for all of us old crotchety guys. Lots of whining going on here at Bitog. Mid Michigan is about 2 weeks behind average in degree days. For me, it has eased up our planting demands (trees), so I am a happy camper!
