Are you referring to the pilots or the person sitting at the hold-short line? Or both?
I think he put the phone down because he was considering jumping out!
Perfect illustration of why we replace brakes in pairs.
There was clearly a bit of crosswind. The pilot relaxed the rudder on touchdown. Big Mistake. That landing isn’t over until you’re at taxi speed.

I don't think AN pilots had time fir that.
Pilots holding short, you can see he would like to do something, but it is just panic.

I also thought the pilots might say a small white dog ran across in front of them so they had to swerve to miss it (not an uncommon excuse in law enforcement).
It’s not a “save”. They landed on centerline, and then completely screwed up the rest of the rollout.
That landed on centerline and allowed the plane to veer dangerously but then recovered it from that without departing the runway.
They may have screwed up the rollout but they also recovered from that screwup.
I do wonder how many tires blew out?
