I just did a total flush of my P/S system yesterday... Used this procedure.... I know most can't use this method...

I had not done a flush ever on my 7.3L...Not Very Smart!!! After the gallon jug had set for an hour or so... I had a 3in layer of black residue ATF on the bottom of the jug...The rest to the top was somewhat red... Nasty Nasty Stuff... After seeing that I installed one of these...

After the New Clean Red ATF started coming out the hydroboost and went ahead and added another qt... Just to make sure all that Nasty [censored] was flushed out... Used 4qts total...After seeing what came out of my P/S system... I will do this every 30K miles... and clean the Cardone filter once a yr...
