When is GC NOT a good oil for the application

a coworker has a 04 M3. theres a big sticker under the hood that says to only use "Castrol Racing High Performance Synthetic 10w60 Oil" and it states that any other oil will void the warrenty. BMW can get away with this because they offer free oil changes throughout the warrenty period.

not a problem here. coldest day of the year was 28degrees for about 5 minutes in the morning one day last week. its usually around 65-75 all year. im able to drive my lowered mustang all year long.

But I wouldn't use it in a marine engine or one seeing bona fide track duty.

Its not good for making eggs, bacon and pancakes on a saturday morning at breakfast. I swear the eggs and bacon are quieter when they are sizzling but they seem to taste a little funny.
