What's the difference between these oils?

Pennzoil & Quaker state have 'SUV, minivan, 4x4' type oils. What's the difference between these oils and their conventional ones? What about the QS 'winter' oil? Thanks!

The SUV, minivan, and 4X4 types are synthetic blends. A mixture of Group II+ and Group III basestocks. The regular conventional ones are a Group II+ for Pennzoil and a Group II for QS. The blends have a little more AW in them.

The QS Winter oil is a synthetic blend with an overload of pour point additives to make them flow better in extreme cold.

There is also a difference where the base stocks and additive packages come from on the Pennzoil and Quaker State brands.
