Hey everyone,

I have a new Little Caesars in my neighborhood that just opened up two weeks ago. They have a large Hot N' Ready everyday for only $5.00 and that includes cheese or pepperoni. I've been there twice already and there food is really good with alot of garlic used. Let me know what you guys think. Here are some prices for the Dallas-Fort Worth area:

One-Topping Large - $5.99
Crazy Bread - $1.99
Crazy Bread Combo - $2.49 (comes with crazy sauce)
Crazy Sauce 59 cents or 2/$1.00
Crazy Wings 10pcs - 5.99
Italian Cheese Bread - $3.99
Dipping Sauce 89 cents or 2/$1.00
20oz Drink - $1.29, 2 liter - $2.19
Speciality Pizza - $8.00 thru $10.00

Seems a lot cheaper than here.

Kids will eat it, I'm not much of a fan. The local chain, Sahara's is pretty good, Garlic Jim's was good when they first opened, but seem to have gone downhill quick. It's weird with some food (pizza) joints. They start to get successful, make a little money, then they cheap out. This business model only works with software.

Hey Chris142,

I come from a Middle Eastern family so spicy foods and lots of use of garlic doesn't really bother me lol. To each their own ! As for Dominos, many people in my neighborhood said it tasted like cardboard boxes. Pizza Hut is peferably my favorite pizza of all time.

Cars are marketed that that way too.

My boss is Italian. He makes his own pizza with his mothers recipie in his brick Pizza oven.

Ceasars and Domino's are nothing like real Pizza.

Pizza Hut is the better of the 3 I guess.

Little Ceasars has been around here in Michigan forever. I've been eating their pizza for like 30 years now. It's certainly not gourmet by any means, but if you're looking for a cheap pizza, their Hot and Now for $5 is hard to beat. We don't even by frozen pizzas to have on hand anymore. A Hot and Now is cheaper than a DiGiorno from the grocery store.

I'm lactose intolerant-this thread is really making me hungry. I haven't had a pizza in a while and at this point would eat the box the LC came in.

As stated above its not the fanciest around but I always enjoyed the LC and thought it was a good deal.

IIRC Red Baron had a relatively spicy sauce that I really liked.

They're in business to make money and fill up people's stomachs, not to make people healthy. They use as generic ingredients as they can that will still taste good. They don't care if it's enriched, GMO, full of pesticides, or anything else, as long as it tastes good and will sell.

You don't get healthy eating at these joints.

You don't get healthy eating pizza period.

For the price I think Little Caesars is great. The pizza really is not bad at all. It is best to go during busier times because you are likely to get a fresh pizza and not one that has been sitting. I have never gotten a bad pizza there though.

We have some pretty decent pizza here in Buffalo, and little caesars seems like the pizza that I get when I'm out of town.

Generic, but it will fill your stomach.

LC's used to be somewhat big here about 10-15 years ago, they had a better pizza also.

They were gone for about 10 years, then they re-appeared in K-Mart stores. Then a few franchises opened up, and the quality got worse.

Maybe not but IMHO pizza in itself isn't a real bad food. It's high carb / high calorie, so if people aren't too active it can contribute to obesity. It's not proper food combining so it may not be very easy to digest for some people.

I eat one pizza on most weeks. I buy organic Amy's brand frozen pizza and eat 1/2 of it at a time, with other vegetables I add to it. It's one treat I feel I can indulge in with not too much problem.
