What to use on squeaky garage door hinges?

PB-Blaster makes a lubricant just for that. Are we talking hinges or rollers? The rollers do wear out.

I hate white lithium! Eventully it turns hard and sticky.
3M and PB-Blaster both make garage door specific lube's.

On ours I thought about the same drip concern and went ahead and liberally used the cheap stuff in the oil can anyway. Then I ran the door up and down a couple of times, cleaned up a couple of drips, and it hasn't dripped since.

For me....it's a dab of Red Lithium grease on each hinge....front and back.....rub it in well on each side of the hinge and the squeak will be gone....you only need a little to get in between the hinges.
IMO....red lithium grease lasts a long time. I still have it on the T4R door hinges and hood and back latches.
Spray oil etc......does not last and you will have to reapply over and over again.

Sae250 mixed with motor honey or Lucas.
It's tacky, so it sticks.
I can't in good conscience use either in anything with a motor...but it works great for lubing hinges. Doors, trailer gates, anything that sits in the weather.
Stuff works great and I've got 5 gallons mixed up.

Pretty sure its the hinges. Hadn't really paid any attention to them in the 2.5 years we have lived here but while installing a new garage door opener I noticed the hinges look like they haven't ever been lubed. The door has always been noisy even after the old GDO quit working a while ago. Guess I should check the rollers too while I'm at it.

Used fluid film on the hinges, rollers bearings and the main spring a few months ago and it has worked great in the squeaks and creeks but we all see how it holds up I guess.
