In order not to be totally shocked, what can I expect from next used oil analysis of my 97 T-bird 4.6 when it has the following schedule?

DAILY: 4-5 short trips that last UNDER 4 minutes (campus)

the LONGEST/fastest trip the car sees is a 70 mile round trip ONCE a week, at speeds around 55-60 mph.

NO real hwy miles

Car parked outside.

Intake manifold was leaking (on to the OUTside of engine), got the new intake in the middle of the current OCI

OCI included the last few weeks of real winter

Oil is a mix of 3:2 ratio MC 10/30 and 10/30

planning to run the oil ca. 4k miles.
total miles on car: 106k miles.

...what should I anticipate from the used oil analysis of a car that sees this type of schedule?

Please read http://theoildrop.server101.com/whatisoilanalysis.htm . It has a great primer on acceptable UOA levels (which I find to be much higher than what we, in general, seem to tolerate on this board!) and their possible causes.

You may see high Si from the intake leak.... which may cause high wear metals (Fe, Pb, Cu, etc)

Fuel dilution and high water levels from short trips in the winter...

And additives in your oil.

There are any number of problems that may be uncovered... but IMHO, I wouldn't be surprised to see elevated Si, and possibly high fuel dilution and associated low flashpoint for your oil.

Thanks for the reply and the link.
I'm really curious how it would turn up.

I've got about 2k more miles to hit 4k miles on this OCI;
with these "abusive" conditions, and 'cause I'm running a dino-mix, should I just do a 3k mile UOA?
