I can't seem to find suggestions on how to shine and protect the wood-grain on my '05 PT Cruiser. It appears to be plastic "contact paper" covered by a clear vinyl. What ideas would you all have?

Inside or outside?

Outside Id consider 303. Inside Id also consider 303.

Outside Id also consider a wax of some sort.

+1. Personally, I used Meguiars M40 instead of 303 due to costs and the fact that I've yet to find a Megs product which doesn't perform as advertised.

Which 303 are we talking about here? The aerospace protectant ?

Isn't that a bit too greasy to use on something with a gloss finish?

Actually it looks nice right now; I want to protect it from the elements and the sun.

Instant detailer might work.

My zymol states "...can be used on exterior plastic, rubber and metal surfaces."

May as well have fun with the free picture hosting while its here.......hopefully it doesnt go away

NO POROUS OR CANVAS MATERIALS!

Nothing mentioned in the owners manual.

I will try 303; had a coupon from AZ so the price didn't hurt quite so much...

Much obliged for your suggestions.

Try Mop & Glo on a soft damp sponge making long even strokes. Try it in an inconspicuous area first, this is what a lot of guys used years ago on the Ford and Chrysler wagons with faux wood sides.
They also used it on vinyl tops, it last a good while without cracking, streaking or splotches and looked good.
