Those engines are not pretty much the same, they are exactly the same. All those trucks rolled off the same two assembly lines (Edison, NJ; Twin Cities, MN).
I am assuming Ford filled them with G-05 from the factory. I doubt they would buy a separate fluid for one model with very low production numbers that was mechanically the same as another model using G-05. The Zerex Asian is probably perfectly fine, but I am betting G-05 is the actual coolant Mazda specified for them.
Would be interesting to see what a 2005 B-Series owner's manual says.
