What replaced Quaker State Q-Advanced Full Syn?

Was at walmart and noticed no more q-adanced. What is the now equivilent to it? How does it now compare to PP. I know back in 06-07 it was just a group III base, whereas the PP was a group III+ plus the minor additive differences.

The Q line is still made.
It is a very good oil.


In my opinion, PP is higher quality oil.

The Q synthetic now carries Horsepower and Torque labels.

I don't know if any reformulation occurred with the new labeling.

But it does look like it meets the GM4718M spec now.

That's a good thing.

I bought 2 cases and saw some excellent 5k oil drains from it. I know pp is better, but once in a while you see those sales you just can;t refuse.

Yep. Q is priced very well.

Its a great oil. you should see great preformance from it.
