What Product Will Minimize Bug Windshield Damage?

I clean my glass when needed with bon-ami 1886. Then i use griots 3-1. Seems to keep the glass easier to clean, but big bug strikes still don't rinse free with just washer fluid and wipers.

I don't know how collinite 476 would work, might be hard to get off, even when you think you have it off, it could dry to another haze. I may try it though.

I sometimes use NuFinish on my windshields. Not only does it do a great job of cleaning, but it does help protect and makes the next cleaning much easier. As a bonus the windshield wipers glide silently back and forth. Give it a try!
 
I persoanally use Glassparency and you need to run a refersher part b towlett over it even few months. I think it works very well...

Now onto you issue, the glass should not have been damaged or etched by bugs. They may be hard to remove but a bare windshield with no protection will not get damaged.
