What is the best regular paper disposable air filter for my 88 Bronco II 2.9L V6? I don't know what's in it now. I live in Oklahoma where the roads can be dusty.

Fram; Their air filters are heads & shoulders above their oil filters as far as quality is concerned.

Purolator also makes a great paper air filter.

I've used Prolator's and Fram both, depending on what store I'm at. If you live in OKC, you got access to a ton of stores to choose from. I live in Chickasha and are limited to just Walmart.

Fram makes very good air filters.

PepBoys have them on sale for $5 every once in a while.

Comparing Frams to other filter, I've found that NAPA(wix) and Purolator seem to have more area, and about the same price so I stick to them. I don't see any advantage to fram, besides maybe availability.

Any reasons for liking Fram? I didn't see any listed.

If you check out the SAE filter test in this forum, AC-delco outdid the others for filtering by a fair margin. If you want the best, that's where it is.
